First and foremost, I gave the character to Moris as I considered that she would do him a much better justice - and, to my mind, I wasn't mistaken. Secondly, she redesigned him, being guided by the species' new design in general. Viarraxia has changed a lot recently and Nyan's new look 100% meets the general design, which I consider successful enough.
You don't have to like it, OF COURSE - every man to his own taste afterall. But, you know, at the same time "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". This doesn't concern constructive criticism: both of us appreciate it greatly and react perfectly fine on it. But comments of such kind as the one above are usually taken as groundless attacks by 80% of people, who receive them and in most cases cause nothing but needless frustration/ aggression/ indignation etc. etc. What for?

Sorry, maybe I didn’t say it correctly, I should have left a more complete comment. But this isn’t anything like Rages character, you can see that you changed everything minus the split tail and the black and purple color. At this point why don't you just call it a new character and have it as your own? Since they look nothing alike.

I’m not being mean, I’m just saying you should have just claimed it as a new character, you can say Rage inspired you.

By itself with out the mention of being Rage's character it looks awesome with the fingers and how you colored the fur.

It's ok to have criticism, I know you don’t get it very often, because everyone who comments on your stuff goes “OMG that’s awesome etc…etc…”

Usatyi Nyan is my favorite character Rage does so I guess that’s why I picked on you.

I just like your version better, better design and detail, Nyan is my favorite from your work. I was shocked to see how crazy diffrent they were. I think she should have just claimed him as a diffrent character since they look nothing alike minus the split tail and black and purple color.

Its a great piece of art don't get me wrong, but to me you did better. Thats no reason to get angry.

And you're just rude and your comment has nothing to do with a logic criticism, it's a pure offence. I am not friend of yours, and Rage is not your friend either, why in the Hell's name you think WE care about YOUR opinion?

I recommend you to go away and cease this conversation, as it is irritating and outrageous. Pffft, since when we must listen to strangers when it considers our characters?..

This is a very good piece of work ^^ the color scheme is very well done and i like how..furry he looks xD.

The only thing though, imo, the snout it too long. Looking over rage's ref sheet, Nyan seems to have a shorter snout then this guy here.

Then again, you were redesigning the character ^^ so if that was what was intended then it's fine. :3
